The primary brief in designing this website was to show as much of the beautiful scenery and lifestyle that the new marina development, Marsden Cove, had to offer. The site also needed to appeal to potential overseas investors, so the look is very visual, tactile, and functional.
The homepage uses large images that almost engulf the entire page. These images have been animated with Flash to give a ripple effect as the user scrolls over. At first sight, there is little content on the homepage - simply a picture and a menu - but users have the option to see homepage content or keep things visual.
The property and marina maps have been deigned to allow people to move around the development and select the exact site they want - they can see spaces available, prices, and even make an enquiry right there and then.
With extensive image galleries, video footage, events updates, and a highly specific search function, this is a very fluid and functional site that looks fantastic and the client has total flexibility with, using their own content management system (CMS).
